The great harvest of 2020 prompted us to go out of the box and launch a new wine story that begins at a time when the world has almost stopped. Great things are created in challenging and difficult moments and those things are remembered for a long time. Vina Belje Cuvée line is one of them. Set of three great wines that stand out with complexity of taste and exceptional freshness. We called them Cuvée blanc, Rose and Cuvée rouge.
Belje's Select wines are an excellent value for money. While they are harvested by hand and the red wines age in large wooden barrels, their price makes them widely available indeed. There are very few Croatian and international wines in the price range of up to 5 euros to have won so many international medals as the Belje Select wines. The main organoleptic features of Select wines are their unrestrained fruitiness and freshness, with the minerality of the Baranya terroir unfailingly emerging through them. Select line wines are the perfect choice not only for the daily shopping in supermarkets and wine stores, but also for bistros, beach bars, grill and burger bars, pizzerias and cafés.
Premium wines represent the premium, yet widely available line of Belje wines intended to provide our customers with high quality at moderate prices. These wines come from prestigious positions at the Banovo brdo hill and feature strong structure and a bouquet that blends primary fruity and sort-typical aromas, while the taste is dominated by a melange of fruity touches and pronounced minerality. Premium line wines have over the last years proven to be successful allies of exquisite cuisine, not only the local of Slavonia and Baranya, but also that of Istria and Dalmatia, as demonstrated by their omnipresence at the wine lists along the Adriatic coast. They have also won a number of international recognitions.
Goldberg wines are the most precious and the most luxurious Belje wines. These are wines of the gold selection grown at special positions, picked in late and select harvests and produced as dry or semi-dry wines. Their high density and concentration of dry matter, the pleasant acidity and intriguing combination of primary, secondary and terciary aromas and tastes make Goldberg wines particularly suitable for high gastronomy.
