Belje’s Quality Graševina features a soft yellow color with green reflections. It has a rich bouquet dominated by the aroma of freshly picked apple with some citrus and minerality. The taste of this Graševina is juicy, rich and very fresh, with lots of citric acids and crisp texture.
Quality Graševina works well with freshwater fish, small sea fish like anchovy, sand smelt, sardine or picarel and with mussels. It is also a great match with pasta and white sauces, chicken and turkey. In spring it is certainly worth trying with asparagus and young peas and in summer with zucchini, egg-plant and pasta with briefly cooked or fresh tomato sauces.
