Belje Gold cheese

A special place among the characteristic gastronomic delights of the Croatian Danube valley is held by fine local cheeses made of milk from our local farms. Belje Gold, a hard cow cheese, is filled in a natural casing called katica and smoked on beechwood to gain the recognizable golden color at the surface.
