The Belje winery is a special tourist attraction, offering a tour of almost 250 wine tanks, which needs to be booked in advance.
Encased in the southern slope of the Banovo brdo hill, the Belje Winery possesses a timeless elegance, its lines following the nearby slopes and vineyards and masterfully blending in with them to achieve complete harmony. The winery’s ideal position in the centre of all Belje’s vineyards allows for fast transport of grapes for processing after the harvest. The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art production and bottling equipment for still as well as sparkling wines, and offers tours that need to be booked in advance.
The pavilion linked with the main building by an impressive bridge is the starting point of the winery tours. A large gallery offering the view of almost 250 wine tanks of differing capacities, but the same height is located at the entrance to the winery. The walkways on the top of the tanks, offering a view of the entire wine production area, are a special treat for winery visitors.
