This is a broad, rich, powerful, creamy chardonnay which has retained its freshness, too. The scent of the Goldberg Chardonnay presents elements of almond, hazelnut, citrus, Granny Smith apples, vanilla and smoke. Its taste is fresh and mineral and strongly reminds of premium Chablis Premier Cru from positions that give broad wines while not compromising their freshness.
Although Belje lies on the Danube, the Goldberg Chardonnay is a wine that suits big marine crustaceans like lobster, crayfish and shrimps. The sweetness, luxury and soft tenacity of their flesh are a perfect match with the features of Goldberg Chardonnay. We also recommend this wine with white-fleshed fish like turbot, grouper, John Dory, wild sea bass, wild gilt-head and dentex.
